The Carnival Museum

The World’s Only Carnival & Circus Museum

The City of Brantford will not allow our Alice Street FUN FACTORY faculty to open to the public because of a zoning issue. We have been forced to take our Carnival collection on the road. At our first event, the Museum will operate the “Patty Conklin” three abreast Merry-Go-Round for the full 20 week season at beautiful Chinguacousy Park in downtown Brampton. The Museum is hitting the road as a full sized The Conklin and Garrett Shows carnival with 15 family rides, 5 “hankie-panks” kids games, and 4 fun food wagons.

Due to bylaw zoning enforcement issues, the City of Brantford has forced the Museum’s Carnival Fun Factory at 114 Alice St, Brantford to close its doors. The two feature elements, our artefact collection and our amusement ride park are no longer open to the public. However, the Museum, archives, and artefacts are available for research purposes by appointment.
